(ThePatriotSource.com)- Speaking to Fox News on Thursday, President Donald Trump said he refuses to allow Seattle to be “occupied” and that he will send in the military is local authorities don’t tackle the problem. Seattle has seen four inner-city blocks taken over by armed Antifa protesters. In what they call the “CHAZ” or “autonomous zone,” Antifa protesters have attempted to establish their own society free from the rule of the U.S. government or police.
Despite this, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan told Chris Cuomo on CNN that it isn’t an armed insurrection…but a “block party.”
“We’ve got four blocks in Seattle that you just saw pictures of what is more like a block party atmosphere,” she told Cuomo. “It’s not an armed takeover. It’s not a military junta. We will make sure that we can restore this, but we have block parties and the like in this part of Seattle all the time. It’s known for that.”
Mayor Durkan completely glossed over the fact that the Antifa activists are literally armed and have established borders with armed guards and fences.
President Donald Trump isn’t happy about it, naturally, and said to Fox News, “If we have to go in, we’re going to go in.”
“If there were more toughness, you wouldn’t have the kind of devastation that you had in Minneapolis and in Seattle,” he said. “I mean, let’s see what’s going on in Seattle. But I will tell you if they don’t straighten that situation out, we’re going to straighten it out.”
President Trump also committed to not allowing Seattle to be “occupied by anarchists.”
“If we have to go in, we’re going to go in,” he added. “The governor’s either going to do it, let the governor do it, he’s got great National Guard troops, he’ll, he can do it. But one way or the other, it’s going to get done. These people are not going to occupy a major portion of a great city.”
The question isn’t whether Trump will send in the military, but when. With Mayor Durkan seemingly unwilling to break up the violent mob of Antifa activists taking control of four blocks of an American city, it may ultimately be left to the federal government to solve the matter.
