Trump Issues Blazing Response After Washington Post Caught Trying To Frame Him

(ThePatriotSource.com)- President Donald Trump is back, though some might say he never went away. This week, the former president hit out at the Washington Post for misquoting his phone call with a Georgia official. Trump described reporting by the Post as a “media travesty” after the left-wing news outlet admitted that they misquoted him.

The Post admitted a correction earlier in the week, describing how they were wrong to suggest that the then-president asked a top election investigator in Georgia to “find the fraud.”

“Correction: Two months after publication of this story, the Georgia secretary of state released an audio recording of President Donald Trump’s December phone call with the state’s top elections investigator. The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump’s comments on the call, based on information provided by a source,” the correction published Thursday began,” the correction said.

“Trump did not tell the investigator to ‘find the fraud’ or say she would be ‘a national hero’ if she did so. Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize ballots in Fulton County, Ga., asserting she would find ‘dishonesty’ there. He also told her that she had ‘the most important job in the country right now,’” it continued.

The fake story was spread widely by other media outlets and used even by President Joe Biden and the Democrats to paint President Trump as a sore loser who was attempting to put pressure on state officials to dishonestly change the results of the election.

But the retraction proves that it was all a fabrication, and Trump isn’t holding back after he was proven right.

In a statement, the former president said that the Post “incorrectly reported” a phone call he had in relation to voter fraud in the state of Georgia.

“While I appreciate the Washington Post’s correction, which immediately makes the Georgia Witch Hunt a non-story, the original story was a Hoax, right from the very beginning,” he said.

“While I appreciate the Washington Post’s correction, which immediately makes the Georgia Witch Hunt a non-story, the original story was a Hoax, right from the very beginning,” he added.

The president might be about to get what he wants, too. A Georgia judge ruled this week that an independent audit of absentee ballots in Fulton County may take place, following reports of as many as 30,000 invalid ballots being counted in the election.

Voter GA will now inspect the votes and determine what level of corruption or fraud took place, if any, thanks to a ruling by Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero.

But by now, proving the fraud doesn’t matter so much as President Joe Biden is already in the White House.
