(ThePatriotSource.com)- During an episode of This Week on ABC, far-left Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota accused President Donald Trump of “glorifying violence,” while Black Lives Matter and Antifa activists burn down stores and beat up people in the streets.
Anchor George Stephanopoulos asked the controversial congresswoman how she feels about the ongoing riots, and what she would like to hear from the president in response given that she has “faces threats inspired by President Trump in the past.”
“The mayor of Washington, D.C., just recently addressed the nation and in her remarks, she talked about how there was a kind of leadership that could have been displayed by Donald Trump and that leadership has not been displayed, and now she said, we look to one another for that leadership,” Omar told Stephanopoulos. “Many people in our communities are moving on, and deciding they themselves are going to show up as leaders. They are going to push for the systematic change we need. They’re going to ask for people to work together to rebuild our communities, they are going to be vigilant and make sure that they are protecting one another.”
Omar’s comments were ill-times and misjudged. As she praised the actions of communities predominantly made up of Democrat voters and far-left activists like her, those same people continue taking to the streets in more cities across the country to burn down stores. Over the weekend, the violence resulted in one man being beaten almost to death with rocks after trying to defend his store from Black Lives Matter activists and looters.

It appears he attempted to defend a shop with a large sword
Looters ran at him, then he charged rioters

Omar then claimed that the president has “failed in really understanding the kind of pain and anguish many of his citizens are feeling.”
“When you have a president who really is glorifying violence, who’s talking about the kind of vicious dogs and weapons that could be unleashed on citizens, it’s quite appalling and disturbing.”
Has Omar not looked out the window lately? The streets are on fire and she thinks President Trump threatening to deploy the military and/or National Guard to curb the violence is…glorifying violence?
“We condemn other nations when their presidents make those kind of statements,” she said, in reference to a tweet by President Trump that said, “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”
Given the fact that people have taken to the streets with guns already, it looks like President Trump was right.
