Dr. Fauci and Other Task Force Members in QUARANTINE Over Virus Fears

(ThePatriotSource.Com)- Dr. Anthony Fauci and two other members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force voluntarily placed themselves under quarantine last week after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for the disease. It comes at a time when Americans begin to get restless about reopening the American economy, and at a time when people may forget just how serious the virus is.

Even the people running the country, with the best resources and security, can’t escape this virus.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as well as one of the most prominent members of the president’s coronavirus task force. He has become known all over the world for his involvement in the fight against the virus and regularly appears on national television to answer questions about lockdown measures and the nature of the virus.

Fauci is joined in quarantine by his colleague Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control, as well as Stephen Hahn, the Food and Drug Administration commissioner.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases confirmed that Dr. Fauci has tested negative for the virus, and will continue to be tested in the coming days and weeks. His institute also explained that despite coming into contact with someone who has the virus, he is still thought to be at a “relatively low risk” given that the exposure was minimal. Regardless, he said he will be “taking appropriate precautions” to minimize the risk of spreading the virus to people during his official duties as a government advisor.

Fauci will be staying at home and working via tele-link, but will attend the White House if necessary while taking extra precautions.

Redfield will also be working from home for the next two weeks and is also considered to have had “low-risk exposure” to the virus.

All three of the men are expected to testify before a Senate committee on Tuesday, but the chairman of the panel announced that Hahn and Redfield will be allowed to testify through video link. This would be a one-time exception to the current policies in place on hearing testimony.
