(ThePatriotSource.com)- Well-known conservative professor Mike Adams, who used to work at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, was tragically found dead on Thursday. Adams was discovered in his home and police are yet to confirm the cause of death, according to local news reports.
The tragic news comes after Adams was forced to retire by administrators at the University of North Carolina after he published tweets that they considered politically incorrect.
Back in July, it was reported that Adams was granted $500,000 as a settlement for him to retire from the University of North Carolina. His tweets were considered so controversial the university paid him out to leave. And the tweets…well, they weren’t all that shocking.
On May 30, Adams joked about lockdown measures in North Carolina.
“This evening I ate pizza and drank beer with six guys at a six seat table top. I almost felt like a free man who was not living in the slave state of North Carolina,” he said.

Massa Cooper, let my people go!

“Massa Cooper, let my people go!” he joked.
Somehow that was considered racist. Or something.
We don’t know the cause of death yet, but Adams had faced months of abuse online for comments that most normal people would consider extremely mild. That’s what far-left activists do, though.
In fact, they’re so unhinged that they haven’t even let up on bashing Adams after his tragic passing. An associate professor from the University of North Carolina – a former colleague of Adams – encouraged people not to sugarcoat Adams’ words in the wake of his death.
“Please do mourn Mike Adams’ death, but don’t sugarcoat his rhetoric as merely ‘controversial’ or ‘racially charged,’” he said.
Please do mourn Mike Adams’s death, but don’t sugarcoat his rhetoric as merely “controversial” or “racially charged.” He was blatantly racist, homophobic, and sexist, and his own words left no room for interpretation on any of that.

Can you imagine being that hateful about somebody who was hounded and forced to leave his work for joking about lockdown?
Let’s hope that the attacks ease up and Adams’ family can mourn in peace.
