(ThePatriotSource.com)- Black Lives Matter seems to be winning in their attempts to reforming (and defunding) police forces all over the country, with several Democrats – including Kamala Harris – having already endorsed the idea of defunding the police. BLM even pressured authorities into prosecuting a police officer for murder after he shot a criminal who stole his taser and pointed it at home.
Police officers in the Atlanta Police Department reportedly stopped responding to calls in several zones on Wednesday. The reports came after Paul Howard, the Fulton County District Attorney, announced that officer Garrett Rolfe would be charged with the murder of Rayshard Brooks. The decision sparked outcry from all over the country as footage clearly shows Rayshard Brooks, who was drunk and in control of a vehicle, wrestled with police officers before stealing a weapon and then pointing it at the officers.
You can see for yourself in the footage below.
A pretty good indication of whether or not a police shooting is justified or not is how quickly cops release video.
Case in point, Atlanta PD has already released surveillance footage of Rayshard Brooks pointing a weapon at officers as they fired.

According to CNN, Atlanta police officers were “not responding to calls in three of the department’s six zones.” The news outlet cited multiple sources from the Atlanta Police Department and explained how some 500,000 people lived within the city limits.
Chief Investigator from Atlanta WXIA 11Alive reported on Twitter that he had been listening to police radio traffic and that there were long 15-20 minute periods of total silence.
I’ve been listening to Zone 6 Atlanta Police radio traffic for the last hour. There are 15 – 20 minute periods of absolute silence amid reports of officer walkouts. This clip was shared with @CherylPreheim by a police source. It’s from Zone 3. The code 69 is Person With a Gun. pic.twitter.com/hkmbC5VF0Q

On Wednesday, the Atlanta Police Department published a statement addressing rumors that officers had walked off from the job.
“Earlier suggestions that multiple officers from each zone had walked off the job were inaccurate,” it claimed. “The department is experiencing a higher than usual number of call outs with the incoming shift. We have enough resources to maintain operations and remain able to respond to incidents.”
