Alec Baldwin Flat Out Calls Trump A Dictator

VIDEO — Trump Fights Back in Fiery CPAC Speech

( – Alec Baldwin could have just ben an actor who did a funny impression of the president on late-night TV, but instead, he decided to divide the public by constantly attacking Donald Trump at every opportunity he gets.

His most recent comments are some of his most extreme, too.

On Wednesday night, in response to the news that the Department of Justice was looking to reduce the recommended prison sentence for former Trump advisor Roger Stone, Baldwin took to Twitter to express his anger.

“It’s official. The United States government is as lawless as the malignant dictatorships we’ve hated in our foreign policy since WWII,” he said.

Another Hitler reference, too! Isn’t that getting old?

Baldwin’s comments are unfair for a multitude of reasons, but notably, because Roger Stone’s sentence has long been condemned as excessive by people across the political spectrum. Stone, who was charged with seven instances of lying to Congress during the Robert Mueller Russia investigation, was facing a sentence of nine years.

Nine years! That’s the kind of sentence that violent criminals and murderers face, not former advisors to the president who failed to provide an inquiry with all the information they requested.

Not satisfied that the Department of Justice was making the right call, Baldwin continued his tirade, saying:

“Remember that fascistic thinking takes hold when a standard of living is threatened consistently. People think that things are changing, and downward for most Americans.”

What? The numbers show otherwise. President Donald Trump is overseeing an economic boom. Unemployment is at record lows not just generally, but specifically for black and Latino workers. There are also now more women in employment than men, and more people overall than at any point in history.

Who is Baldwin talking about?

He continued, “And that will become the new normal. They are wholly directed by $.”

Who knows what that even means.

He went even further, explicitly referencing fascist German leader Adolf Hitler, comparing his rise to power with the hugely successfully Trump presidency.

“You wonder how Hitler took control of a once great country. For those of you too young to recall the War or its aftermath, simply watch how this GOP-controlled Senate behaves. Their sniveling fealty and lack of courage. And you begin to get it.”

So far, President Trump hasn’t opened concentration camps for gay people and Mexicans. He hasn’t initiated a genocide against an entire race of people. Oh, and he hasn’t implemented socialist policies that restrict the liberty and freedoms of the American people.

So how exactly does Baldwin think Trump and Hitler compare?

Perhaps he should stick to the SNL skits.
